So I got my tickets today for my imminent departure to Philadelphia for staging. Exciting! I really can't believe that I am finally getting to do this, considering that the application process started around last February...I am so excited!! So much to do, however, until that departure, I can't even describe it. It's really starting to hit me that I will be away from the people I love for 27 months! Eeek. It will be an adventure! Let's see how many exclamation points I can use in one paragraph! I am greatly anticipating it.
This is a great site to learn about family/friend information. The "On the Homefront" link is especially a goooood read. Haha.
Alrighty, I still have lots of stuff to do and buy. Oh mann, so overwhelming.

I have read that entire "Homefront" piece, in booklet form, here, at home. It is very well written. It explains well all the ups and downs a person is likely to experience during 27 months of Peace Corps life. I recommend reading (or skimming) it.
